Description
Smokey Quartz crystal from the Orange River in South Africa with super shiny vitreous lustre.
The main crystal has formed with an attached secondary layer of a lighter quartz bonded along one surface, giving it a fascinating appearance. This secondary layer has a lovely striated sheen with an indented ‘keyed’ area.
The front facets of the crystal are beautifully formed, with a lovely smokey interior, tapering down to a sloped well healed angled base, on which the crystal stands.
