Description
Erongo dark Smokey Quartz crystal group with some inter-grown Black Tourmaline. A beautiful specimen consisting of one larger and a number of smaller crystals, inter-grown.
The main large crystal, and a number of the others, are nicely terminated and in good condition with a few of the smaller ones on one side having healed ends due to growth interference. There is some shiny Black Tourmaline on the underside of the specimen that formed part of its matrix.
The crystals have a frosty matte sheen to them with striated growth lines and narrow flat edge terminations. A great specimen from the world famous mineral deposits of Erongo, Namibia.
